School Blazer

Charcoal Grey with royal blue piping and embroidered school badge

The school blazer is compulsory and must be worn every day.  It is available from TSS.

School Clip On Tie

KS3 Royal Blue and Gold Tie / KS4 Royal Blue and Light Blue Tie / KS5 Royal Blue with Grey Pinstripe Tie

The school tie is compulsory and must be worn every day.  It is available from TSS.

School Jumper/Cardigan/Tank Top

A school jumper, cardigan or tank top is optional to wear under the blazer in cold weather.  These are available from TSS.

Shirt

White

Conventional white collared school shirts are compulsory for all students.  They must be plain white with no motifs or logos, have a sleeve, must not be fitted, must be able to be worn with the school tie with the top button of the shirt comfortably fastened at all times, and must be tucked in.

Trouser

Black

Trousers must be full length and plain black.  The following are not permitted - jeans or jean style trousers, denims, cords, bootlegs, leggings, jeggings, hipsters, combats, pinstripes, skinny fit, motifs, splits, rivets, exposed zip or button fly.

Skirt

Black

Skirts must be knee length and plain black.  Skirts should not be tight fit, and should not have any motifs, large splits, rivets or exposed zips.  If wearing a skirt, pupils must wear tights which must be plain and black.

Shoes

Black

These must be plain, completely black, low heeled school shoes.  Sandals, boots, high tops, open backed shoes or open toed shoes are not acceptable. 

Outdoor Coat

This can be worn to and from school.  The coat should fit our school blazer underneath it at all times.  The coat should be logo free and be as plain as possible.

ALL CLOTHING MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH STUDENT NAME

Jewellery

One small plain stud in each ear lobe only.  One watch.  No other jewellery permitted with the exception of religious jewellery or a medical alert talisman.

Hairstyles

Must not be of an exotic or severe nature.  This includes brightly coloured dyed hair, bands of colour, tramlines, shapes cut into hair, etc.  Only plain hair accessories are permitted.

Makeup

Only discreet, not noticeable foundation is allowed.  Any other makeup or nail varnish is not permitted.  Students will be asked to remove any other makeup and nail varnish.

PE UNIFORM

Girls

Years 7,8 & 9

All pupils must wear a white polo top and either a skort or leggings for all Games activities (Hockey, Netball and Rounders)

Years 10 & 11

All pupils must wear a white polo top with either a skort or leggings for all activities.

Boys

Years 7,8 & 9

All pupils must wear a white polo top or blue rugby shirt and black shorts (rugby shirt for outdoor games)

All pupils must wear rugby boots for rugby and blue rugby socks.

Shinpads must also be worn for football.

Years 10 & 11

All pupils must wear either a white polo top or blue rugby shirt with black shorts for all activities.

It is the policy of the PE department that all pupils change into their PE kit for every PE lesson.  This includes pupils excused from lessons due to ill-health or injury.  As an inclusive PE department, excused pupils are encouraged to plan and evaluate activities or practices, or help to officiate within lessons.  This policy eliminates the possibility of pupils’ school uniform becoming wet or muddy.
