Some of our requested policies are listed below. Should you require a copy then please contact Mrs Richards, the Headteacher’s PA, at the school.
Parents may be asked to make a voluntary contribution for activities and visits which pupils make from time to time.
If you have a concern or complaint then we would urge you to raise this with the relevant member of staff at the earliest opportunity. Our complaints policy sets out the stages of the complaints process and how we aim to deal effectively with complaints.
Equal Opportunities Policy
The school is committed to providing opportunities to all members of the school community. We are committed to promoting a safe and tolerant environment, and aim to tackle discrimination and promote good relations across all aspects of school life.
Sex and Relationships Education Policy
The school delivers Personal, Social and Health Education to all pupils. This policy covers the school’s approach to delivering these topics, and the links to the relevant outside agencies.
Relationships: Reward and Behaviour
Our relationships policy sets out the high expectations we have of all pupils. There are also a clear range of rewards and sanctions to ensure that pupils understand the importance we attach to being a positive member of our school community.
We have a Safeguarding (Child Protection) Policy designed to keep our pupils as safe as possible. This is linked to the Local Authority and All Wales child protection procedures. The leaflet below gives further advice to parents and carers about Safeguarding at St Cenydd.
