Aspire & Achieve

Over the Easter break, pupils from Years eight to ten were fortunate enough to travel to Iceland on a five day field trip that would create memories to last a lifetime. Whilst there pupils experienced the immense natural beauty and rich culture that the country boasts, seeing the Northern lights on three consecutive nights, only a stone's throw from their hotel. Highlights of the trip included: Skofargoss waterfall, the Lava Centre experience, the ‘Golden Circle’ tour and whale watching, during which pupils spotted a pair of Humpback Whales and a pod of White Beaked dolphins who frolicked beneath the boat. Overall, St. Cenydd’s expedition to Iceland proved to be a great success and a fitting send off to the outgoing Head of Geography, Mrs Davids!
