Aspire & Achieve

For the past twenty years, the SRB Department at St. Cenydd have made the trip west to Morfa Bay near Pendine. This year we took eight students from Yr. 9 and 10 for three days of adventurous activities where pupils learned the skills required for bodyboarding, zip wire, high ropes, bush craft  and of course the famous mud assault course!

The main focus of our trip is to encourage good team work, friendship and fun. Visit organizer and SRB Teacher Ben Roberts said 'watching the pupils push themselves out of their comfort zone filled the staff with pride. Seeing a child who is, for example, scared of heights, reach the top of the climbing tower through sheer determination and bravery whilst being cheered on by their friends is something special.'
