In November GCSE drama and some of year 9 visited the Wales Millenium Center to watch Willy Russel’s musical ‘Blood Brothers’. A grant was gained from the Arts Council Wales in order to significantly reduce the cost of this trip for pupils. 

It was clear by the interval that all pupils were amazed by all aspects of the production. The staging, music, costume and set were commented on. By the end of the second half pupils had clearly made a life long memory of the trip and were inspired by the talent they had witnessed.

It was lovely to watch pupils travel on an emotional rollercoaster; they laughed and (some) cried at the journey that the characters took through the performance.
