We were delighted to receive a kind donation of furniture to the school from Ty Newydd.  A grandmother of a former pupil who is now serving in the Army contacted the school asking if we would like a donation of furniture from their offices which were undergoing refurbishment.  We were quick to accept!  Ty Newydd donated 50+ teacher desks, 50+ meeting room chairs, 6 conference room tables, several folding tables and a number of cupboards worth well over £20,000.

The CEO of Ty Newydd, Sian and a couple of members of their team that helped dismantle and move the furniture came to visit the school to see how the furniture had been put to use and spoke with some staff and 6th Form pupils regarding how the furniture had improved their learning environment.  The sixth form are delighted with their new work area and we are very grateful to Ty Newydd for their generous donation.
