Today Year 4 from Nant Y Parc came to take part in a transition taster workshop in the Art department. In our lesson we examined the Mexican festival Dia de los Muertos and what makes a festival. Year 4 came up with outstanding ideas and then translated these ideas into images with the help of a new printing technique they learnt called transcription. This technique prints the media from one piece of paper to another and by using brilliant and vivid colours that represent the festival atmosphere Year 4 were able to creative these outstanding sugar skulls!
