14 aspiring A Level Maths students attended a collection of Maths Workshops held at the University of South Wales on Tuesday 26th June. The pupils investigated the maths involved in a variety of careers ranging from Chemistry to Motorsport. Everyone participated in all the activities fully and in both workshops St Cenydd were the first school to successfully complete the tasks. The afternoon session was a lecture lead by one of the senior Mathematics lecturers which explored some of the more interesting and obscure aspects of Mathematics. To top a fantastic day off 2 of our pupils managed to win the quiz earning themselves some Amazon vouchers!
