School Development Plan 2023/2026

We are in our second year of our three year plan.

Our whole school priorities are outlined in our School Development Plan, and have two golden threads running through each one of the priorities below.  These golden threads are provision and outcomes of our most disadvantaged and wellbeing provision and standards.

Our whole school priorities for the three years, with our 2024/25 focus

SDP1: Teaching and Learning (2024/5 focus on improving student engagement in their learning)

SDP2: Standards and Outcomes (2024/25 focus on improving student outcomes particualrly at KS4)

SDP3: Skills and Experience (2024/25 focus on improving pupils progress in skills)

SDP4: Wellbeing and Support (2024/25 focus on improving attendance and engagement with parents)

SDP5: Leadership (2024/25 focus on the quality assurance by, and of, leaders)

 

Estyn inspected St Cenydd School in November 2019.  A copy of the school inspection report is on Estyn website.     

There were two recommendations for the school following that inspection:

R1: Improve provision for the development of pupils’ skills across the curriculum

R2: Strengthen arrangements for evaluating and securing improvement in pupils’ standards and progress in skills
