Our Year 11 Health and Wellbeing Fayre took place this week and proved to be an incredibly valuable and engaging experience for all involved. The day brought together a wide range of expert guest speakers and organisations, each offering pupils practical guidance, honest conversations and opportunities to develop essential life skills as they prepare for the next stage of their journeys.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from the NHS, Big Ideas Wales, Sex Education Community Service, Gwent N-Gage, Stori Cymru and Llamau. Across the day, pupils took part in tasks and talks covering key themes including mental health, entrepreneurship, sexual health, substance misuse, and healthy relationships.
The sessions were informative, interactive and, at times, challenging in the best possible way—prompting pupils to think critically about the choices they make, the support available to them, and the importance of maintaining their wellbeing.
Feedback from both pupils and staff has been overwhelmingly positive. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the organisations and guest speakers who contributed to making the Fayre such a success. Their time, enthusiasm and expertise made a lasting impact on our learners.
