Dear Parents and Carers
Further to my letter earlier this afternoon with regard to the positive case of a pupil with Covid-19 within the school, please see below:
I can confirm that any pupil in any year group who travelled on the Yellow St Ilan Road school bus on Thursday 24 September, Friday 25 September or Monday 28 September must isolate at home for 14 days.
I can confirm that all children in class 9.2.1 must isolate at home for 14 days.
This means that all children in class 9.2.1 and all children who have travelled on the Yellow St Ilan Road bus in the last three school days will not be able to return to school until Tuesday 13/10/20.
We need to follow strict public health protocols to ensure the health and wellbeing of the whole school community. These protocols are being strictly followed to protect all pupils and staff and to limit the risk of any cross-contamination.
Current public health advice states that other members of your household do not need to self-isolate. You should, however, be particularly vigilant about your child’s health and if they display any coronavirus symptoms, you should ensure that they are tested as soon as possible.
Thank you to all parents and carers who were contacted this afternoon to collect their child from school. We very much appreciate your support in responding so quickly this afternoon.
Yours sincerely
Miss Collins
