Dear Parents / Carers
Following the very sad news of the death of Mr Steve Barrow, thank you for your messages of condolence and support. Our school community has been very touched by the love and care shown.
Mr Barrow’s funeral will take place in the afternoon on Wednesday 28 February 2024 at Thornhill Crematorium, and afterwards at Senghenydd Rugby Club. His family have said all are welcome.
You will understand staff wish to attend the funeral to remember our friend and colleague. As such the school will close to all pupils at lunchtime to allow for this. We have asked Caerphilly Council to provide early school buses and taxis, and the canteen will provide lunch before we close.
On Wednesday 28 February 2024 Lesson 4 will end at 1pm, with lunch between 1pm-1.30pm, and registration 1.30pm-1.35pm. The school day will end for all pupils at 1.35pm.
