Dear Parent / Carer
As per my letter sent just before half term, please find below details regarding industrial action. You will be aware there are three dates of planned industrial action this half term: Thursday 2 March, Wednesday 15 March and Thursday 16 March.
In line with guidance, we have undertaken a risk assessment. As a result:
- For all pupils in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10, school will be closed on Thursday 2 March with access to work set via Google Classroom. Pupils eligible for a free school meal in these year groups will have meal vouchers sent to their home address by CCBC.
- For all pupils in Years 11, 12 and 13, school will be open on Thursday 2 March and they should attend school as normal. Staff not involved in strike action will be working in school.
The Y11 Parents Evening will be postponed and will now take place on Tuesday 21 March. Consequently, please note that the Y7 Parents Evening will now be on Tuesday 9 May.
