Dear Parents and Carers
As per my letter yesterday, I am sorry to inform you that we continue to face significant staff shortages and as such one year group will learn from home tomorrow - Year 8 will learn from home tomorrow (Wednesday 6 April 2022). Arrangements for those pupils learning from home remain the same e.g. they will access a St Cenydd Google site where they will find pre-planned video lessons from teachers in our school. Pupils will receive an email to their school Gmail account and work will also be posted on year group Google Classrooms. Although a workbook is provided, pupils should complete their work in their exercise books, on Google Docs, or on paper.
All other year groups should attend school tomorrow. This is subject to change should we face further staff availability pressures and I will contact you as soon as possible with such arrangements should they be required tomorrow.
We have had further staff illness reported today. With regard to Thursday and Friday this week, it is highly likely that at least one year group will learn from home on each of these days. We will assess the situation tomorrow late afternoon, and I will contact you before 7.30pm tomorrow evening.
