Dear Parents and Carers
I am sorry to inform you that we continue to have significant numbers of staff who are unwell and unable to attend work. It is likely that this will be the case for much of the coming week. At this time we know that we will require one year group to work from home tomorrow – Year 10 will learn from home tomorrow (Monday 4 April 2022).
Arrangements for those pupils learning from home remain the same e.g. they will access a St Cenydd Google site where they will find pre-planned video lessons from teachers in our school. Pupils will receive an email to their school Gmail account and work will also be posted on year group Google Classrooms. Although a workbook is provided, pupils should complete their work in their exercise books, on Google Docs, or on paper.
All other year groups should attend school tomorrow. This is subject to change should we face further staff availability pressures and I will contact you as soon as possible with such arrangements should they be required tomorrow.
With regard to Tuesday, we will reassess the situation tomorrow late afternoon, and I will contact you before 7.30pm tomorrow evening.
