We will be holding a Year 10 Parents Information Evening on Wednesday 3 December 2025 at 5pm in the Main Hall.
Mrs Buswell (Head of Year 10) and I will talk about the year ahead, our expectations, wellbeing support, and how to maximise success in summer 2026 when your child will sit their first GCSE exams. Your child may have shared their iMEGs (initial Minimum Expected Grades) with you and we will explain more about these in our presentation.
As you know, there are new GCSE expectations in many subjects, including English and Maths, and we would like to give you an update of what your child is studying and what our expectations are. There will be presentations by Mrs Sage (Head of English), Mr McGregor (Head of Maths) and Mr Hughes (Head of Science) who will share important information about GCSE English, Maths and Science.
We know GCSEs can be daunting and we want to support you in supporting your child as they navigate their way towards their first exams next summer. We will hold another information evening for Year 10 parents and pupils towards the end of the spring term.
