Update for Parents and Carers from the Headteacher - 26 June 2020

Dear Parent and Carer

I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming back to school those children who are returning over the coming weeks.  As you are aware our key priority is the safety of our pupils and staff.

As promised in my letter last week, all parent/carers should have received a text from the school last Monday informing them of the date and times that their child/ren can attend.  These were sent to all parents irrespective of whether you indicated that your child would return during the summer term.  This means that, should you change your mind and wish for your child to attend, you already know which days and times they have been allocated.  Your child will be sent an email to their school email account at the end of their allocated day with the school work they should complete that week.

Yesterday I sent an email to all pupils in Years 7-10 and Year 12 with a video from me and a further link to a site video from Mr Bown.  These links are below for your information.

The ‘Question and Answer’ document that I sent you last week has been updated to reflect the changes to 3 weeks rather than 4 weeks.  We will continue to update this document on the website for your information.  You can see when it was last updated in the right hand corner of the document.

The school website will also be updated over the coming days with a new tab called ‘Returning to School’.  This will include the links for important information such as what to do if your child is unwell and how to access a Covid-19 test as per the links below.

We are looking forward to ‘catching up, checking in and preparing’ over the coming weeks.  Thank you for your continued support and kindness.

Please take care and stay safe.

With thanks

Miss Collins
