Dear Parent / Carer
As per my letter earlier this term, there will be a Year 11 Parents Information Evening on Thursday 25 September at 5pm in the Main Hall.
The purpose of the evening is to share vital information about the autumn term as your child prepares for their GCSEs, their controlled assessments, and their first exams. Mr Owen (Head of Year 11) and I will talk about the year ahead, our
expectations, wellbeing support, and how to maximise success next summer. There will also be presentations by Mrs Sage (Head of English), Mr McGregor (Head of Maths) and Mr Hughes (Head of Science) who will share with you important information about GCSE English, Maths and Science. Other senior staff will be there to answer questions and give support.
We know that examination years can be daunting and we want to support you in
supporting your child as they navigate their way towards their final exams next
summer. We will hold information evenings for Year 11 parents and pupils at the
beginning of the spring and summer terms as well.
