Our Year 7 and 8 SRB pupils were thrilled to go on their first school trip since joining us at St. Cenydd. It was definitely a case of a welcome change as we left our books behind, boarded our bus and visited the wonderful Royal Mint Experience in Llantrisant as part of our Maths topic, where we are studying money.

 

The pupils learned about the long history of the Mint and how money is actually made. They were also fortunate enough to 'strike' their own coin to keep as a momento of their day. As always, behaviour was impeccable and the pupils did themselves and our school proud.
