On Tuesday 17 December, the Home Economics department hosted an Intergenerational Afternoon Tea. This was organised in conjunction with local Community Police Officers. Residents from Pleasant Place and Glyn Derw enjoyed a delicious array of sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls, scones and mince pies, all made by Year 10 GCSE Food and Nutrition pupils. They enjoyed listening to some of our Year 10 Performing Arts pupils singing a selection of Christmas songs and many of them joined in with the singing. 

It was a lovely, festive afternoon and pupils and staff enjoyed chatting with the local residents.
