Aspire & Achieve

Nia has been named as this month's Caerphilly Coach of the Future is Nia Fishlock, one of our Sixth Form students.  Nia currently volunteers at Caerphilly Junior Netball club, where she is now one of the lead coaches. She has made an outstanding contribution to the sport of Netball, not only at Caerphilly Juniors but her involvement with the year 7 netball team at St Cenydd and Sport Caerphilly camps.  Nia has worked with other coaches to develop training plans for the under 14’s girls and continues to encourage more girls to take part in netball. The club has seen a significant increase in girls attending as a consequence of her hard work and commitment.  Having volunteered over 50 hours since becoming a Coach of the Future, she is a great role model to others. Nia is an enthusiastic, dedicated, committed and reliable coach. Her passion towards coaching and volunteering is evident to see in every session she delivers. She enjoys volunteering weekly and will attend meetings if required, helping out in any way possible.

Da iawn Nia!  We are very proud of you!
