This week, Year 7 have had the opportunity to learn about the true meaning of Easter through a series of Easter lessons provided by Club 707. Club 707 Schools is a project that works with primary and secondary schools in Caerphilly and the surrounding areas. It was a pleasure to welcome the Club 707 team. The lessons were not only fun, fast-moving and creative, the lessons also provided our students with the opportunity to learn about Christianity by meeting people from our local community. Through the personal testimonies shared by the Club 707 team, our students at St Cenydd were able to find out first-hand how faith affects the way people live and the moral and ethical decisions they make. It was wonderful to hear so many philosophical questions being asked by our Year 7 students - da iawn!
