Congratulations to Liam Davies who has recently been crowned Welsh Weightlifting Champion in the Under 15 54Kg category. In addition to this outstanding achievement Liam also secured the British title. Liam was the youngest competitor at only 13 years old competing against boys 2 years older than him and has only been training for 7 months!

Liam is initially hoping to be selected for the Wales team travelling to Austria to compete later this year before targeting a place at the Commonwealth games in 4 years’ time. Congratulations Liam and good luck in future competitions!
