St. Cenydd Community School

Aspire & Achieve

The School Council provides a forum for pupils to express their opinions about the school and to voice their opinion on how it can be improved.  The School Council consists of two elected representatives from each year group as well as the Head Boy, Head Girl and senior students, who chair these meetings.  The School Council meets half termly and members of the council often represent the school at community events such as the Senghenydd Memorial Service.

We believe that pupil opinion is paramount and elections are held for pupils to nominate their representative e.g. form captains.  Form captains meet with the Head of Year in calendared meetings.
