St. Cenydd Community School

Aspire & Achieve

Congratulations to the inaugural winners of the Ms Bolton kindness & nuture awards:

Connor STONE

Connor is quite simply the kindest person I know.  He is one of the most helpful and thoughtful pupils I have supported; always willing to offer a hand whether that be on parents' evenings, supporting younger pupils to engage in their lessons or working within the community as a committee member for Penyrheol, Trecenydd and Energlyn and on the Youth forum.  There should be more Connor's in the world.  Well done!

Evan LOUGHER

Evan is deserving of this award because of his work with younger pupils during after school clubs, as well as his 'can do' attitude around the school. Younger pupils look up to him as a role model and he takes this responsibility seriously. A true gentleman!

Oliver WEAVER

Oliver has displayed a real willingness to help and support pupils joining the year group.  His positivity and friendly nature has shone through and he has clearly demonstrated the compassion and welcoming nature which we are all proud of at St Cenydd.  Oliver has really stood out in terms of how we can conduct ourselves in school.  Well done Oliver!

Elliot JONES

Elliot is an absolute pleasure to have within the year group.  His caring, charismatic and kind nature shines through.  He expresses kindness towards his peers with heartfelt words of encouragement.  He shows consideration for others with a simple smile and a good morning.  Elliot completely immerses himself in all things St Cenydd and his acts of compassion and kindness have not gone unnoticed.  I am incredibly proud to have Elliot in the year group and I look forward to watching him flourish throughout his time at St Cenydd.

James EVERITT

James always puts a smile on peoples faces.  He will always check in on pupils and staff to see how their day is going and to ask if he can help in any way. He will always put other pupils before himself ensuring that everyone has everything they want or need.  James is a ray of sunshine and is so deserved of this award.

Zacharia BANASZAK

Zach has showcased his kindness and commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for his peers this term.  He has given up his time and put others first to take on a role of responsibility to ensure that his class achieves a quality learning experience.  Zach shows great commitment to the school's environment, confidence in representing the school and support to his peers.  Zach has the ability to be patient, fair, understanding, responsible and approachable in any situation and therefore thoroughly deserves this special award.

Harry Collier

Harry is a quietly confident member of the year group who always goes about his day in a happy, positive and cheerful way.  He often shows kindness and empathy towards his peers, going out of his way to support those around him.  Harry takes every opportunity that comes his way and I am looking forward to seeing the journey that he will take during his time at St Cenydd.
